(Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test)

Targeted preparation aligned with OSSLT expectations and assessment formats.

OSSLT preparation focuses on developing the reading, writing, and literacy skills required to meet provincial assessment standards. Instruction emphasizes familiarity with question formats, clarity in written responses, and effective reading strategies. Instruction follows a structured cycle of practice, feedback, and skill refinement delivered by an experienced Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT) and assessor of the OSSLT.

Support may include:

• Reading comprehension strategies for informational and narrative texts
• Written response practice aligned with OSSLT formats
• Sentence structure, grammar, and clarity
• Test-taking strategies and time management
• Reducing assessment-related anxiety through familiarity and practice

This service is well suited for students who benefit from explicit instruction and guided practice in preparation for the OSSLT.

Session Structure and Fees

Sessions are offered in a one-to-one format, either in person or online, or in small groups (maximum 3 students). Frequency is determined based on the assessment schedule and student readiness.

• Payment: Advance payment required
