Grades 6-8 Mathematics

Foundational mathematics instruction aligned with Ontario curriculum expectations.

Instruction focuses on developing strong conceptual understanding, numerical reasoning, and problem-solving skills essential for success in secondary mathematics. Emphasis is placed on accuracy, logical thinking, and clear mathematical communication. Instruction follows a structured cycle of guided practice, review, and feedback delivered by an experienced Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT).

Support may include:

• Strengthening foundational skills and number sense
• Developing step-by-step problem-solving strategies
• Improving accuracy and reasoning in mathematical work
• Supporting completion and understanding of assignments
• Preparing for quizzes, tests, and cumulative assessments

This service is well suited for students who benefit from a structured, methodical approach to mathematics and require reinforcement of core skills.

Session Structure and Fees

Sessions are offered in a one-to-one format, either in person or online, or in small groups (maximum 3 students). Students may attend one, two, or three hours per week depending on individual need.
