This course is designed for adults who are interested in creative writing and would like to develop strong foundational skills in a relaxed, guided learning environment. Instruction focuses on the essential building blocks of effective storytelling, including grammar, structure, and clarity, while encouraging exploration and personal expression.

Sessions combine clear instruction with discussion, reading, and low-pressure writing activities. Learners are invited to explore a variety of creative works and styles, gaining insight into how stories are constructed and how language is used purposefully.

  • Grammar and sentence clarity in creative writing
  • Story structure, pacing, and organization
  • Character, setting, and point of view
