Essay Rescue

(Grades 7–12)

Targeted academic support for written assignments in progress.

Essay Rescue provides focused instructional support for students who are struggling with written assignments or who require structured guidance to move forward effectively. Emphasis is placed on organization, clarity, and alignment with assignment expectations. Instruction is corrective and supportive, without completing work on the student’s behalf, and is delivered by an experienced Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT).

Support may include:

• Clarifying assignment expectations and success criteria
• Developing or refining thesis statements and outlines
• Improving paragraph structure and cohesion
• Strengthening clarity, grammar, and academic tone
• Guiding revision and editing strategies

This service is best suited for students who are prepared to engage actively in the writing process and benefit from direct instructional feedback.

Session Structure and Fees

Sessions are offered primarily in a one-to-one format, either in person or online. The number of sessions required depends on the scope of the assignment and the student’s needs.
